The CARES Act opened new possibilities for connectivity outside at the U — funding 118 new Wi-Fi access points in outdoor spaces and bringing the U's total number of APs from 8,910 to 12,263.

Governance

The Enterprise Web Advisory Council (EWAC) met on August 10. The Strategic Information Technology Committee (SITC) will reconvene on September 14. The Architecture and New Technology Committee (ANTC) will regroup on September 27. EWAC will meet again on October 14. The next Teaching and Learning Portfolio (TLP) meeting is to be determined.
