Patrick Harris, a technical writer for UIT’s Strategic Communication group hosted a virtual town hall meeting on July 18 about internal documentation services for UIT teams. In addition to being UIT’s resident documentation specialist, Harris is co-chair of the ITS-UIT Documentation Community of Practice.

UIT has purchased and is testing Viavi Solutions’ Observer platform, a suite of networking performance monitoring and diagnostics (NPMD) software products that visualizes and analyzes network and server traffic.

The repository, which features support topics like Adobe, Canvas, Kaltura, and more, improves the organization and presentation of knowledge base articles.
