The U's Campus Computer Support team in UIT's Network and Communications Infrastructure unit supports more than 50 embedded and non-embedded organizations across campus and backs up others as needed.

Alex Krebs spent 2015 to 2017 in the two countries — seven months in Thailand and 15 in Myanmar. To learn the languages, he immersed himself in dictionaries and books, talking with native speakers, and asking questions, always willing to risk saying the wrong things and appearing foolish.

Lions and tigers and … clowns? Oh, my! Although this year's Halloween festivities didn't exactly mirror a scene from "The Wizard of Oz," Dorothy did make an appearance and plenty of witches and wizards roamed the halls of 102 Tower.

The Strategic Information Technology Committee met on November 20, and the Architecture and New Technology Committee met on November 26. The Teaching and Learning Portfolio meets on November 28 and the Enterprise Web Advisory Council meets on December 13.
