The University of Utah has signed a new five-year campus-wide software agreement that makes MathWorks MATLAB Total Academic Headcount (TAH) available to eligible students, staff, and faculty at no cost starting on Thursday, October 1, 2020.

Because technology bridges physical distance, UIT has worked months in advance of the new term to establish measures that promote social distancing, support a hybrid semester of in-person and online courses, enhance security, expand Wi-Fi coverage, and provide the U community with ample bandwidth to telework.
